Dr. Covington Dr. Covington earned a B.A. in biology at Brown University and was awarded his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Covington was on the faculty of Howard University Hospital, Washington D.C., where he engaged in allergy and asthma research as the director of the adult allergy clinic. Dr. Covington was awarded the status of Fellow in the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society and the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
Dr. Covington volunteered in a FEMA medical clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana shortly after hurricane Katrina. He is also the proud father of four children who keep him busy during his time away from the office. |
